5 videos that are full of Christmas feels even Scrooge would approve

'Tis the season to be jolly, but it seems, 'tis is also the season to be releasing Christmas videos.

Whether they be to promote brands, services or organisations on the Internet, or simply to spread good cheer, they have proven to be inspiring, entertaining and some, downright funny.

Here's a list of some Christmas videos we've seen in recent weeks which are worthy of a mention:

1. 'English for beginners' by Allegro

A book entitled "English for beginners" gets delivered to the home of an elderly man and he goes about his daily life practising the language in a myriad of ways - some humourous too.

Viewers don't get to see why he's so bent on getting proficient in English until the very end of the clip which lasts for almost 3 minutes.

The video made by Polish online auction website Allegro drops subtle hints of branding along the way but it's main intention seems to warm hearts in time for Christmas.

2. 'Come Together' by H&M

Even if you've not heard of the big screen genius that is Wes Anderson, you may have heard of some of his notable films like The Darjeeling Limited, The Grand Budapest Hotel or The Royal Tenenbaums.

Unbeknownst to many, Anderson has also had his hand in commercials for brands such as Ikea and Prada.

So it shouldn't come as a surprise that this year, he's made one for clothing retailer H&M which stars Hollywood heart-throb Adrien Brody as a train conductor.

Incidentally the clip which plays for about 4 minutes also features pieces from H&M's Christmas 2016 collection.

3. 'Coming Home for Christmas' by Heathrow Airport

When you're one of the world's busiest airports, you're not only known for connecting flights together, but also people.

And that's exactly what this video aims to convey in a short 1min and 10 seconds, seen through the eyes of an elderly teddy bear couple making their way out of the British airport after a flight.

You will need to watch this till the end to figure it out but we guarantee it will leave you going: "Aww."

4. 'Jingle Bell Rock' by IMH

While many corporations and government agencies around the world are still busy putting out their versions of the Mannequin Challenge, the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore has released a video with actual moving people set in what appears to be an IMH facility.

Isn't that refreshing?

In fact, the dancing stars of the clip are IMH's very own staff too, all dressed up like they would if they showed up at your front door for Christmas dinner.

Best part is, their version of the upbeat Christmas classic Jingle Bell Rock was actually sung by staff too.

The video get props for keeping it real even if awkward lip-syncing glaringly shows up here and there. But it's all in done in the spirit of Christmas, right?

5. Nathan Hartono melting hearts for DBS

What better way to promote a DBS Lifestyle app than to make a video depicting a couple browsing in a warm and fuzzy-looking store for a Christmas gift for the girl's dad.

Even better, throw singer Nathan Hartono into the mix and watch hearts melt as he dishes advice on why shoes make a great gift.

Hartono then drops the bomb: "They'll take you and your dad places, not just physically but emotionally as well."

Just take my money and give me those shoes!
