The rumoured Apple iPhone 9 could be unveiled this week as cases for the phone have started arriving at retailers.

9to5Mac received an image from a reader that shows an Urban Armour Gear (UAG) case for the "New iPhone 4.7-inch, 2020". The tipster claims that other cases are also being to retailers such as Best Buy this week. These retailers are instructed not to start selling the cases until April 5.

This suggests that Apple does not want retailers to start selling the cases before the official announcement, which could happen anytime this week.

Apple was said to be on track to launch the iPhone 9 this month, but the Covid-19 virus outbreak disrupted its supply chain with component orders delayed from the first quarter to the second. iOS 14 code also reveals that Apple is working on a larger model, the iPhone 9 Plus.
