Gundam Factory Yokohama to stand guard until March 2024

Great news for Gundam fans who were scrambling to book tickets to Tokyo this first quarter of the year, knowing that the Gundam Factory Yokohama, which features a life-sized 18-metre tall RX-78F00 Gundam with 24 articulating joints, will be shutting down for good on March 31, 2023. The exhibit was already extended once last year, due to the travel restrictions that prevented fans from around the world from visiting.

The Evolving G Corporation has just officially announced to extend the Gundam Factory’s operation till March 31, 2024. This is due to many requests for an extension due to the continued impact of Covid-19 in 2022 which prevented travel to Tokyo to visit the facility.
