It's a far cry from the dingy, yet homely corners of old shopping malls back in the day.

As someone who grew up with cybercafes marked as a home for kids with no future as well as a place for you to openly abuse your teammates and friends after they flub their lines for the umpteenth time, the modern cybercafe is an entirely different kettle of fish altogether.

And Wanyoo Esports goes further than that. China's largest internet cafe name has just opened its third and latest outlet in Singapore, with a difference.

Located at Lavender, this luxury, Esports-focused cybercafe is a veritable be-all and end-all stomping ground for true-blue gamers, featuring an array of futuristic-themed amenities and facilities. It is open 24 hours a day (as you should) and has a seating capacity of over 80 pax. This includes a multi-function room, a table game room, a pool table, darts machines and various LAN room types to cater to any gathering.

The full list of experiences and services includes:

  • LAN gaming
  • Console gaming (PS5)
  • Virtual Reality (VR)
  • Tabletop games
  • Live-action role-playing (LARP)
  • Pool
  • Darts
  • Streaming
  • Street fashion
  • Collectable toys
  • Esports team merchandise
  • Food and beverages

In line with the luxury theme, Wanyoo Esports provides high-end ASUS systems equipped with 4070 Ti graphics and paired with MSI gaming monitors. The gaming chairs have also been furnished by Secretlabs. Gamers will also have access to a wide range of popular gaming titles, including competitive favourites ranging from Valorant to Fortnite and Dota 2.

Wanyoo Esports claims to have big plans, which include an Esports-themed hotel and lounge in the near future. Wanyoo Esports is located at 30A Penhas Rd, Level 1, Singapore.
