The last time we checked in, Tan Chuan-Jin had become the new "Tweeter of Parliament" after his humorously candid replies to a rando landed him in the spotlight.

But beyond his official role as Speaker of Parliament, new stans wanted to know more about the man himself.

In true millennial style, Tan dished out personal preferences in an Ask Me Anything-style session with some National University of Singapore students — including his stance on whether pineapple belonged on pizzas.

The short 80-second video, uploaded onto his Facebook page today (April 1), revealed things such as his favourite local dish (chicken rice) and his favourite TV series (Game of Thrones), among other stuff.

And sorry Twitter folks, he still prefers using Facebook.

His inner beng also made a reappearance when asked if he preferred his bak chor mee dry or soup.

"Dry lah! Who takes soup bak chor mee?" he suan-ed, face scrunched up in disgust.

Of course, he wasn't stumped by trick questions either. When asked to choose between Tampines and Clementi, he faithfully cheered for Marine Parade, his own group representation constituency.

He also claimed that the Health Promotion Board didn't allow him to drink bubble tea.

Proud ambassador indeed.

And as for whether pineapple belonged on pizzas?

"Ya."

The man has spoken. Pineapple stans rejoice.
